The microstructure of HDPE geomembrane in engineering application

1. Handling of anchorage nodes
In waste landfills, artificial lakes, aqueducts and other works, the HDPE earthen membrane can be buried in the anchorage ditch.
The anchorage groove is rectangular in shape (figure 1), and there are inverted triangles (FIG. 2).
The scale of anchorage trench is usually 400 ~ 500mm wide and 500 ~ 600mm deep.
In the future, the HDPE geomembrane is buried in the ditch, which is usually used to fill the soil with the original soil, requiring the density to reach more than 90%, and some of it can be reclaimed by concrete.

2. Tube (column) node treatment

Under special needs, the film can be assisted by anti-seepage treatment to ensure the sealing.
It may take a backpacking method to adopt anti-rust treatment on the metal part.
On the straight or oblique wall of the wall should be sealed, the construction should be set aside 100mm * 200mm slot or 100mm * 120mm eaves, so that it can be fixed in the impermeable layer.
After using the nail and the flat steel, seal the sealing material, and then use the steel wire mesh cement or the fine stone concrete to maintain.
The other type of anchoring method is the embedded HDPE lock on the concrete bottom layer, and the HDPE film is simply welded to the lock bar during construction (figure 3).
This method is simple in structure, convenient in equipment and reliable in quality.
4. Other
In housing construction and tunnel engineering, HDPE geomembrane to plugging leakage parts should be taken before construction drainage treatment: about as long as the small wet stained concrete base, can be adopted method with polymer mortar;
In the case of the point and line with the leaking leakage, the water should be introduced into the drainage ditch.

5. Conclusion
